Price: Starts from €80/person (indicative price for a group of 10 adults)

Location: Corinth Canal, Mycenae, Ancient Epidaurus, Nafplion

Duration: 10 hours

The bus will pick you up either at your Athens hotel, or from Plateia Eleftherias in central Athens. After about one hour, you will arrive at the Corinth Canal for a 15-minute break. The next stop will be the ancient hilltop city of Mycenae, the Homeric home of the Atreides. At the archeological site you will enjoy a walking tour of the ruins of this once powerful, fortified settlement. Learn about the reign of King Agamemnon, and view highlights such as Agamemnon’s Palace and Tomb, as well as the famous Lion’s Gate.

Next, you’ll have a chance to stop in ancient Epidaurus, the mythological birthplace of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine. Tour the spectacular relics, including the UNESCO-listed Sanctuary of Asklepios, with its crumbled buildings. There is also the breathtaking ancient theatre of Epidaurus. Built in the 4th century BC, the colossal theater is considered one of the world’s most beautiful, and still boasts fabulous acoustics. The final stop of the tour will be the pretty seaport of Nauplia.
