The bus will pick you up either at your Athens hotel, or from Plateia Eleftherias in central Athens. After about one hour, we will arrive at the Corinth canal for a 15-minute break. Our next stop is the impressive site of Ancient Corinth. It was one of the most important cities of ancient Greece! Visit the Agora and one of the most outstanding monuments of the pre-Roman period: the Temple of Apollo. The ancient town of Corinth was a necessary stop for anyone traveling between southern and northern Greece in ancient times. In Greek mythology, the city was home to Jason and Medea. In the Christian tradition, Corinth is the city where St Paul lived and preached for two years.

On the drive back to Athens, you can enjoy a short stop at Cenchrea, the port where St Paul disembarked. Ancient Cenchrea (Modern Kechries) was the ancient harbor city that served biblical Corinth. After your exploration, you will return to Athens.
